Germany is the leader in supply of cranberry juice in Russia!

The VVS company conducted a marketing analysis of the growing markets of Russia by the results of the 1st quarter of 2016. As a result we discovered new points of growth in Russian import.

The criteria for selection of commodity markets into the rating are:

·         the high rate of market activity;

·         turnover more than 500 thousand USD/quarter;

·         the rate of growth to the same quarter of the last year is above 10%

In the 1st quarter 2016 the high volume of imports is observed in cranberry juice in barrels with a capacity of not less than 40 kg market under the relevant HS code 2009813101.

This market in monetary terms amounted to 523 thous.USD in a quarter. The growth of imports during this quarter amounted to +30% compared to the 1st quarter of 2015. A period of sustained growth is 16 months. The activity coefficient is 6.1. The activity coefficient is determined by a calculation based on the period of the existence and the nature of the growth of the commodity market on the basis of the author's methodology of the company (this method is reserved by a patent).

It is worth noting that 2 Russian regions are engaged in import of cranberry juice in barrels with a capacity of not less than 40 kg. The leading region of the purchases is the Moscow region. More than 92% of cranberry juice in barrels with a capacity of not less than 40 kg is imported exactly to this region. The leader among supplying countries is Germany with a share in the import of 89%.
