80% of stone goods or of other mineral substances are imported from China to Russia!

The VVS company conducted a marketing analysis of the growing markets of Russia by the results of the 4thquarter of 2015. As a result we discovered new points of growth in Russian import.

The criteria for selection of commodity markets into the rating are:

·         the high rate of market activity;

·         turnover more than 500 thousand USD/quarter;

·         the rate of growth to the same quarter of the last year is above 10%.

In the 4th quarter 2015 the high volume of imports is observed in goods of stone or of other mineral substances market under the relevant HS code 6815990009.

This market in monetary terms amounted to 24.4 mln. USD in a quarter. The growth of imports during this quarter amounted to +131% compared to the 4thquarter of 2014. A period of sustained growth is 6 months. The activity coefficient is 5.3. The activity coefficient is determined by a calculation based on the period of the existence and the nature of the growth of the commodity market on the basis of the author's methodology of the company (this method is reserved by a patent).

It is worth noting that 35 Russian regions are engaged in import of goods of stone or of other mineral substances. The leading region of the purchases is the Zabaikalsky Krai. More than 21% of goods of stone are imported exactly to this region.

The leader among supplying countries is China with a share in the import of 80%.
