The VVS company conducted a marketing analysis of the Russian growing markets by the results of the 4^th quarter of 2016. As a result we discovered new points of growth in Russian import.

The criteria for selection of commodity markets into the rating are:

·         the high rate of market activity;

·         turnover more than 500 thousand USD/quarter;

·         the rate of growth to the same quarter of the last year is above 10%.

In the 1^th quarter 2014 - 4^th quarter 2016 the high import volumes were observed in the drilling machines, with a drilling depth of at least 200m market under the relevant HS code 8430490001. This market in money terms amounted to $ 359 million per quarter.

Throughout the period under review, the drilling machines, with a drilling depth of at least 200m were shipped from 17 countries. The share of suppliers from China accounts for 47% of total imports.

It is worth noting that 24 Russian regions were engaged in import supplies. 53 Russian enterprises became participants of the market on the Russian side. The leader of purchases - the company OOO «DVTG-Terminal» accounts for 15% of imported products.
