The VVS company conducted a marketing analysis of import deliveries to Russia of soda ash during April 2015. As a result the trends of imports were determined, the composition and shares of market participants were set and partner preferences were analyzed.

It is found that in April 2015 Russia imported soda ash for a total amount of 1 507 835 USD, which is 2.5 times more than the previous month.

During the study period the deliveries of the goods was carried out from 9 countries. The supply market can be characterized as highly concentrated: the share of suppliers from Bulgaria accounted for 39% of total imports.

Direct import deliveries were carried out to 5 regions of Russia. There were 17 market participants from the Russian side. The share of the leader procurement accounted for 69% of imported products.
